‘Snake (remix)’ featuring Cam’ron

On the back of ‘Fiesta”s success R Kelly tried to rehash the formula by releasing a ton of club tracks with the same Spanish/Middle Eastern feel. None of which were as good or as successful, with ‘Snake’ and the inevitable remix now tossed on a pile of forgettable outcasts along with ‘Thoia Thoing’ and ‘Hotel’. The concept sees Kells travelling the world looking for a girl who can “snake”, whatever that means. But attempting to bottle such globetrotting (and creeping) into a five-minute pop song only leads to an awkward cultural mishmash.
